Recreate and Share Your Memories!
Nostalgia is defined as longing for something that is lost. The one thing that slips away and is hard to replace are memories. We’ve all heard about those who have lost everything either in a tornado, hurricane, flood or fire and the neighbors and family who come and bring photos to replace the ones lost in tragedy.
I’m sure you have had the opportunity to go to a family or church reunion and the photos come out from the deepest and darkest recesses of the storage closet. Laughter can be heard ringing through the building as heads are bent over the albums of long forgotten, long lost memories.
I’m also sure you or a family member has at one time or another wished or even spoken aloud the wish that someone would get those photos in order, or make you a copy of one or the other photograph that you see every time the family gathers.
I want to talk about ways that you can surprise a family member or a parent, or other significant person in your life.
New technology bombards us on a daily basis. Our VHS tapes, 8mm videos, Hi8 tapes are pretty much a thing of the past. It is hard to even find a VHS tape player in the stores anymore. Pretty soon tape cassettes will go the way of 8 tracks from the 1970’s and 1980’s. We will end up searching second hand stores to find an old technology to play our old media.
Media producers, such as Past Present Future Digital, enjoy taking the way of the past and bringing those memories into the twenty-first century. By transferring old media methods into new technology they give you a method to save your memories. That old 8mm of your father playing college football, or your grandmother and mother walking hand in hand on the beach can be saved for your children and grandchildren to know their family history.
Learn more about how PPF Digital can bring back the nostalgia by showing you the past with today’s technology.
